ATCO trainee Course Delays?

Hi all,

Posting this for a mate. He's been accepted to train with NAT's but heard from a passing conversation with an ATCO that courses were being delayed i.e. Jan courses starting in July or such like (i think that's what he said!). .Basically is this true?

Due to the change over from shifts back to normal hours there has been a number of effects. 1) The current aerodrome one course is only about 13 strong (10 of which were new starters) 2) There is a lot of holding for the later courses especially aerodrome 2 and the new radar skills/ojt/famil phase

Things should be back to normal in the not too distant future!

I'm due to start my Aerodrome course in July, does anyone know if this will be affected by delays?
