HI TO EVERYBODY,I WILL NEED SOME ADVICE (I MIGHT CONFUSE YOU A LITTLE BIT).CAN I WORK IN UK AS INSTRUCTOR IF I HAVE A CAA COMMERCIAL LICENSE WITH A FAA FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR RATING?IF NO,IS THERE ANY WAY TO CONVERT THE INSTRUCTOR RATING OR DO I NEED TO DO THE WHOLE TRAINING FOR IT?
ANY IDEA OF HOW TO FIND A DIRECTORY OF FLIGHT SCHOOLS IN EUROPE?

You will find most, if not all, of your answers at www.srg.caa.co.uk (http://www.srg.caa.co.uk) . I think that you'll need to do a fair bit of training before taking the beloved JAR/FCL FI test though.

You'll have to do half of the normal FI course (which equals 16 hours of flying, I can't remember the mandatory groundschool component but it's either 30 or 60 hours). Allow about £2,500 or thereabouts.

Oh, and you'll be given a JAR FI (restricted) with all the normal restrictions (no first solo etc) even if you have an unrestricted one from elsewhere.
