Noticed an aircraft overflying my house last night, not sure of the altitude but judging by the heading may have been climbing or descending out of Dublin on a downwind leg parallel to the runway.
I noticed some lights on the underside that I hadn't noticed before. It was possibly a narrow body 737 or Airbus 320/321. There were about 4 or so and they were flashing in quick sucession and then pausing briefly and then start again. I think I may have seen a thread on this recently but can't find it.
Can anyone explain the significance of these, is it something as simple as visual warning in areas of more traffic.
Thanks
