48 hour E.U. working directive

I thought I heard some time back, that as of December , aviation was no longer exempt from this directive. Could anyone set me straight on this? Thanks:hmm:

You're quite correct. Dont know why the EU make up all these stupid rules without consulting anyone... power trip i guess..but your company should be dishing out 'opt out' forms. We've all had ours and guess what.... we all opted out!
