Hiho Folks !

Anybody who can provide information about the Cockpit-Procedures
on those easyJet A319´s ? (those in GVA)

-Roughly the same as those coming from Airbus during the type-rating ?

-Silent cockpit philosophy ?

-Do they use Laptop-Computers for Take-Off/ Weight-Balance computations ?

I guess they´ll use exactly the same procedures when introducing their brandnew A319´s in LGW later this year.

Looking forward to a reply,

Greets ! :)

The only part I can help with is confirming that all weight/balance computations are made on the flight deck using Airbus's Less Paperwork Cockpit system. The crew are given check-in closure figures and the loadplan, and from this they produce their own 'loadsheet'. All LMC's are made on the flightdeck after final loads are confirmed with the ramp team/gate.

Thank you very much so far. :)

It's probably worth pointing out that a conventional loadsheet is not produced on the Airbus. Instead the form used to give the crew their Pieces And Weights (check-in closure of pax and bags) has space for the crew to write some of the weights etc and it is this which remains on the ground in place of a loadsheet.
