With the 200+ layoffs the order for new aircraft, the attrition rate to other carriers ie CAL and Emirates as well as retirements is AC going to end up short of crews in the near future. What is the company and unions doing to rectify this? Anyone heard anything?

Merry Christmas

Seasons Greetings!

Even with the state of things, there are those still talking of pilot shortages. Haven't heard that one before.

Almost 200 laid off from AC, maybe a shortage in the year 2007-8 but we have to live in the present don't we.

As one of the 200, I've given up my spot for someone else and happy to oblige.

Cheers
