Has anyone used "The UNOFFICIAL BOEING 757/767 SIMULATOR CHECKRIDE Survival MANUAL"? Is any it good? Are there any other manuals that can be recommended for newbies?

Cheers

I have not tried those (I assume it's Mike Ray's books?). Captain Bill Bulfer's "Big Boeing book" is nice for the FMS.

And of course any AOMs you can get your hands on........

sa227,

Yes, I have used Mike Ray's book on the 757/767 when I still flew the aircraft.
It's very "readable" & well laid out. Humourous, too. Although, it covers UAL's SOPs primarily, I did find it useful as a supplement to my then airline's AOM. Recommended. :ok:
