Many of these US / Canadian decodes are contained in the Thales (used to be "BA AERAD) supplement.

Just to give you a more direct answer, :

SLP224 = qnh 1022.4 mb

T00111006 = temp +1.1 celsius, dewpoint -0.6 celsius

I'm probably being a bit pedantic (sorry) but I wouldn't go so far to say that the expanded temp/dew point info isn't used by pilots. I've often used it during flight to detect trends which might not be noticeable using just the whole numbers. It's a helpful tool regarding the potential for fog at your destination and/or alternate airports.
