Can anyone tell me what happned with Tristar 9L-LDR at Heathrow yesterday? It wasn't a plane I'd seen here before, so I followed it down, she flared at 50 feet or so, flew the length of the runway, before powering away, and coming back in to land OK 5 minutes later?

The a/c asked at 4DME whether it could perform a low approach and go-around so we could inspect its nose-wheel as it only had 2 greens in the cock-pit. The aircraft landed safely on its second attempt.

The a/c was operated for Libian Airlines. It did look very impressive from the tower...

I didn't actually see it so dont know what colours it was in but
9L-LDR is c/n 1179 ex 9Y-TGJ ex BWIA

All white with blue 'Star Airlines' titles and blue/red tail.
