Jetsgo is always hiring, they can't hire fast enough for their growth. They may be looking for 3,500 hours, but they hire with less, as long as you give them $30,000.

Are you only considering Jetsgo? They don't have the best conditions and neither is the general mood very positive.

And what are their conditions....

How many less hours if you have the money to front for the training bond???

The bond is required regardless of the hours you have, so if you want in, set asside $30,000. I have heard of pilots getting hired with less than 3,000 hours, and many of them straight off turboprops.

Conditions, pilots are doing 100 hours of flight time per month. That in itself isn't a bad thing, but when you take into account that a typical day might be do a morning flight for 45 minutes, hang around for 4 hours and fly back, and you only get credited for your flight time, it gets exhausting I'm sure. From what I've heard, the morale isn't that great in there, and it's a matter of time before they start demanding more from their contract.

Hope that helps.

The $30K is for the MD8 training, generally Co's require one to 'serve'3 years to cover the cost of the training.

And how do get an interview? Do you have to have to have internal references a la WestJet.... or is "-I have 30.000 to spend!" the magic word?!?

I hear that you do need an internal reference now, but I can't verify that.

Vancouver based company, Holland Canada Line is recruiting MD83 FAA Captains for Jetsgo. They have already selected two batches and are being trained in Toronto.

Why is Holland Canada asking for an FAA licence if it's for Jetsgo???

That HCL site is pretty far out. Broken sentences, poor grammar, bad english...and some pretty whacky philosophy. Not to mention a million different "businesses" that seem to be strangely linked together. Is it some sort of hobby website? Looks very micky mouse to me. Who the hell runs that place?
