XL Airways query

I'm SLF considering booking a flight an oversees XL Airways. Can people advise me of the quality/safety etc of XL?

Thanks jubilee, I have done the customer review searches already, I understand that customers find XL Airways lacking in some amenities, such as in flight entertainment, fancy lounges and always smiling staff.

I'm posting to PPrune because I am interested in opinion of aviation professionals as to the professionalism and safety of this particular airline. Are there some who can provide insight? Thank you in advance.
