I really wouldn't consider the F-35 turkey low end hardware but even that is being subsidised by the US taxpayer via the Congress critter and their pork barrels.
If Canada had any sense then it should cancel the F-18s and go to the European option. It would give the orange idiot something else to squeal about how unfair NAFTA is to the poor USA. Guess the 220% applied duty doesn't count in this transaction.
