EP...the GOM in general is a whole different kettle of fish than the North Sea.
The nature of the task is different, the climatic conditions are much different, and the mindset of the government, operators, and oil companies are much different.
Over time....kickiing and screaming....the GOM is slowly improving. It certainly could not get much worse than it was not so many years ago.
