Hello Nordic Fourm,

I have just arrived in Stavanger to join my spouse, and am looking to convert my South African Commercial Pilot IR/ME license to JAA FCL, can somebody please point me in the right direction, where I can get more information about the conversion in Norway, as I am not sure if there is a flight school in Stavanger and also are there any regional online forums where I can get more information about the conversion and employment prospects here.

If anyone can shed light on the costs involved and whether it is more economical to convert elsewhere in Europe and get the CAA to approve it here.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
