I have just seen a Forbes publication listing the first 3 or 5 hundred richest Romanians. What striked me was their wealth combined sums exactly the total money received from EU. I thought EU gives money to its members for improving infrastructure or some forms of economic development?
Meanwhile the British homeowners got their propety taxes increased by 350-400 pounds a year to help Romania and Bulgaria's governments paying their subject salaries. Go figure! How strange that is?
