If we believe the BBC it also left
without baggage, which I would have thought makes loading somewhat quicker.

A bbc article earlier today also quoted long queues at checking and security, quoting Walsh as saying:
some passengers were turning up particularly early for flights, adding to queues
Presumably the right thing to do faced with a new terminal with reported teething problems is to turn up late.
