Proof

Teamsters went on strike at UPS and IPA supported them by not crossing their picket lines. IPA asked other pilot groups to honor the Teamster picket lines as well.
So this was not a UPS pilots strike as you implied in your earlier post.

Evergreen pilots refused to fly any UPS work during the strike even though threatened by management. Most of the Polar pilots also refused but some did fly UPS.
Better prove that one too.

ALPA determined that because it was Teamsters strike they would fly UPS hence Atlas and NWA were on the SDF ramp with Polar.
Once again have any proof? ALPA doesn't determine anything. It is usually a person. Who at ALPA put out the communication to that effect?

I remember Atlas flying TO SDF which they would have been required to do (so they probably were "on the ramp") - but I can't recall even one aircraft that carried one stick of UPS freight.

My point is that all unions, real or not, do not always do the right thing. Self interest gets in the way.
Sure, and that is a true statement. But it ain't the UNION'S self interest. It is the individual pilots self interest. Sorry but in this case a strike by teamster truckers would be hard to support from the air-side unless they could put up a picket line on the ramp.

By the way, the Captain on the first Polar flight into SDF that day was an ex-zoner and a friend of mine. He is still my friend.
Did he just park on the ramp or did he actually carry cargo?

This is similar to the AFL-CIO asking us not to stay at some hotels in support of their members. Do you know which hotels we should not be staying at? How about which table saws we weren't supposed to buy last year? Moslty you just need proof of all of your statements.
