I don't have a rush, I have a desire to be that person with the four stripes, that everyone admires. My father is a pilot, and I have been flying and studying for years now. It wouldn't be a huge leap from nothing to something for me, just a giant pay.
Why should I sit back and wait for my oppurtunity to pass? Airlines are looking for youngsters, such as myself, and what better time to be an airline pilot? Having no family to leave home, and no debts or anything. Just gaining the experience.
Anyway it's not really going from school to QANTAS, it's more like going from a pilot, to a Second Officer. Giving me responsabilities and a position, that shows me exactly where I am heading in life. It's where I want to be, and I like to be given a standard and a duty, and to exceed that.
