Apply for the Qantas cadetship. You only need year 12, maths, english and physics I think, and if you get lucky, off you go.

You have to pay for your own training, and the cost is somewhere over $100K. If you don't get into the cadet program, QF is the only Australian airline to offer one, you will have to go out, get a licence, build experience and then apply like the majority of people who get into Qantas. If you don't get accepted into the cadet course, it does not mean you cannot get in at a later date once you have the licence and qaulifications. A degree is not required.
