Er, this is the Professional Pilots RUmour NEtwork! I would hazard a guess it’s not John Goddard that works in the machine shop, or drives forklifts or even puts Typhoons together. How about John Goddard that might be …….. a pilot?! How many John Goddard’s do you know in BAe?
Tarnished - If it’s John Goddard, ex F4 driver that might have become a test pilot (first class operator if it is, but haven’t heard anything about him in years since I left), try asking someone who might have a connection with 43 (F) Sqn when it was a Phantom outfit. They have a pretty close old boys network

A quick check of the various forums shows that despite the title of the site, Ground & Other Ops - and indeed Jet Blast exist, and it is not devoted solely to pilots. I am sure you can excuse me for reminding you of that. With due respect to you and Mr Goddard, I would respectfully suggest that amongst 85,000 people, there is a good chance of there being more than one John Goddard. Certainly on two of the sites I worked at, there were people with the same name who were not related. It's always good to look outside the cockpit...
Still, you've got your kicks from educating me about the forum I've been on for almost 17 years. Watch you don't fall when climbing down from your high horse.
