BOAC VC10 Course 1 October 1973
I was wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of Mike Burke (Vulcans,VC10's and Concorde), Ted Welsted (VC10's and DC10's), Paddy Carver (Canberras, VC10's and CAA) and Paul Gilroy (RAF Fast stuff,VC10's and Cathay). It would be good to say hello again and maybe have a chat. From the 'Truckie' on the course!

Thanks SYGYZY - yes that was the man! I did see in BA 'Absent Friends' that he had passed away - very sad. We had a a very happy and enjoyable course on the VC10. Although the youngest of the six of us I ended up as the most senior and so got the last place on the 747 which meant I was the most junior F/O for nearly 10 years. No problems because it was a great fleet and company to be in but for one reason or another the others left -
I'm not sure why Mike left BA from the Concorde fleet because I never bumped into him again after VC10's. Thanks for your reply - all the best, David
