Dave Knight - ScotAir/Suckling Airways

If anybody knows how I can contact Dave Knight, former Chief Pilot (I believe) of ScotAir/Suckling, I'd appreciate a post here or a Private Message, thanks.

I wonder what ever happened to that old Merlyn powered scooter he used to wind up with winter morning diversions to places that even the French didn't consider part of the flight plan.

VFR Dave

I hope he is well.
He helped us Norwegians in the spring of 1999, and that I must thank him for!
Later:
I think him and I agreed to disagree and I eventually left Glasgow for Amsterdam, and no tears was shed.
He must be well retired by now.

Question is were did all the other Sucklings go?
Hope all are good!

Regards

All Sucklings (or those not contaminated for life) were good once they'd fled that dreadful, shonky, dangerous little swill-tub of gashness.

Wow-harsh!
They gave a helluva lot of folks their first break in flying when there really weren't that many floating about, esp. early 90s.
Roy, in particular, was one of the very few altruistic people I have met in this business.
I owe him a lot.

Ah, The Ancient Shepherds, or The Plough, many a good night to be had at both! I had several great years at ScotAirways, hard work a lot of the time, but a lot of laughs and memorable moments along the way. I think of it fondly, and such a shame that it's gone as it gave so many people, including me, an introduction into the business. I miss all the crew and office staff I had the pleasure of working with, including Captain Knight, best wishes to all my former colleagues.
