Greg Williamson RIP

With great sorrow we are reporting the passing of a dear friend of ours. Greg Williamson passed last week - on 3rd Jan after an 8 year battle with cancer. Greg flew with many pilots in Royal Brunei, Air Pacific, GMG & Jet Asia, plus Air Altintique & other airlines as a contract pilot. Greg is beloved by many of his collegues. His sons, JJ & Jake Williamson have advised that Greg will be laid to rest at Gregson & Weight Funeral Services in Maroochydore, Queensland at 12.45pm on Wednesday 16th January and we are advised all his friends are welcome to attend. Condolences to the family, Joy, sons JJ & Jake and sister Debbie.

Did Greg spend anytime with Airtours in the UK in the mid 1990's?

Yes, Greg was on the 757/767 at Airtours whilst I was there in 94-96 and IIRC based at NCL. Last communicated with him in 2012 after his initial scare. Thoughts are with his family at this sad time. A genuinely nice guy who has gone too soon. RIP fella.

Sad to hear it's the same Greg. We did a week trip to MBJ on the Boeing 767 departing Christmas Eve 1995. RIP Greg. Way too young.

Which is at the Maroochydore end of Wises Rd for those unfamiliar with the area.
