Fairflight?

Hi Magvelda

Yes, I remember working there, in 1975!
I got fired because I asked for a day off to attend an interview at BCAL.
Thank you Reg and Gordon! BCAL was the step up to a career with a large Dutch national carrier. Retired two years ago. I also remember John Willis,
Gary Studd, Ian Patterson, are any of them still around?

Hi - yes - most are arround still - I work from home in Biggin Hill, and run the BH users database and reunions (email me your email address and I will put you on the database for the newsletters and reunions and things - [email protected] -Gary Studd is down in Australia, having moved there a year or two ago with his family. Ian Patterson also did some work for me when I ran Centreline, but haven't heard from him since he left Biggin all those years ago.

Keith Faulkner is still around, and apparently about to retire - god, that makes me feel old!

John Willis

PS. Last big reunion was in Sept 2003 - see www.bigginhillreunited.co.uk

Biggin Hill Boys Downunder

John,
Noted from your reply earlier that GaryS is also down here in OZ. I'm now living (and flying for a living at last!) in Brisbane. Do you have an email address for Gary you can PM me? Oh, its Howard Franks by the way.

Regards

Howard

P.S. Started a Sportair thread on this forum as well, as I hadn't seen this one for Fairflight!

Keith Faulkner did my local check when I joined S&K. He also flew my Dad down to LGW for a tower visit and I had to drive them all back because of the awful wx. Retiring? I'll join the list of those that suddenly feel very old

We used to keep our Robin in the Micro Consultants hangar - any of those guys like Gordon Franks still around?

Biggin Hill

Hi again everyone, it's been great hearing from a few people from the " Good old Days ". Keep the e.mails coming.
Since leaving Biggin in the late 80's I spent 11 years flying the 757 and 767 from Brunei and came to Canada nearly six years ago. I brought a small flying school and charter outfit in BC, which I am just in the process of selling, and have been flying a Twin Otter on skis and big wheels in the high Arctic, mostly out of Resolute Bay. Fantastic flying.
I've now swapped my Twotter for an equally ancient 727 and am having lotsa fun making lotsa noise with that.
Also just brought a beautiful, wonderful Stearman and going to go barnstorming.
If it's not Boeing I'm not going.
e.mail is
[email protected]
Anyone touring the Colonies is welcome to visit. Vernon, BC is about half way between Vancouver and Calgary, just West of the Rockies.

Cheers,
Rhys
