B-787 Training

hello,

can someone help in locating the list of approved ATO/TRTO which can do training on B-787 training.

Thanks in advance.

:)

Can you be more specific? Do you mean FAA, EASA or what?

Since you're asking in the North America forum, the only non-airline 787 sims in the US are at Boeing in Miami.

I'm pretty sure Boeing will not deliver training to a non airline staff member these days.

Really? They won't train BBJ operators?

Yes, of course they do BBJ operators and you are correct, they are not an airline operation. What I meant was, they have been declining "walk ups" for several years now on the 777, 787, and 747. Not really sure if they are/will do a 737NG crew or not at this hour and suppose it depends on just how busy they are. Not a lot of training going on these days, but there is a lot of dry time being sold.

Boeing's web site says they offer 717 (I'll keep my DC9 type, thank you), 737NG, 747 (doesn't say Classic or -400 but I've used the -400 sim in MIA), 757/767, 777 and 787 types. And they say the target customer is a pilot wishing to add a type rating. Granted scheduling may an issue, we're probably talking months and months in advance. I know for a while AA had instructors TDY in MIA doing 787 training before they got all their sims running in Ft. Worth.

Boeing does not offer 717 training as they have sold their last 717 sim and do not maintain an approved curriculum for that airplane. DAL may have this authority now?
As for the Boeing website, it's nothing more than a troll and they do not hold out to individual walk ups.
