Delta Pilot and Flight Attendant delay flight for 2 hours

A spokesman noted that the plane was operated by a subsidiary of Delta, Endeavor Air.

Unfortunately these things do happen. But a delay of only two hours is pretty good. I'd say well done to Endeavor.

I've had a few deals that came down to about "This can be discussed later and if you want to be replaced that is up to you but right now we need to get going".

Even if the Captain was being a jerk the decision would generally be protected under command authority and delay put on insubordination. How it comes to arm grabbing and name calling I don't know what is wrong with people these days?
