Jobs for Aeronautical Engineers
Hey y'all
I'm Ben, 17 years old, high school senior and portuguese. My ultimate life goal is to become a pilot but unfortunately it is so expensive to become one. I would love to move to the us, I spent this summer there and I fell in love with the country and the people. So I was thinking about doing college there but as I'm an intl student tuition prices...well you know. I'm thinking about applying to Aeronautical engineering, get a job and then step up to an ATPL with my own money. Do you think it is a good idea? How about job availability in the United states for an aeronautical engineer? Thanks in advance, Cheers |

Check out indeed for the types of jobs there are currently in the u.s.. I suggest going ME with an emphasis or masters in AE to broaden your skill set, and MEs do work in aviation. (ME is mechanical engineer, AE is aerospace engineer). |
