NG type rating and FAA ATP in LA
 

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a training facility in Los Angles that can help me towards FAA ATP and NG type rating at the same time.

At the moment I hold Indonesian CPL/IR and 737CL type rating. I also appreciate if any of you explain me the process I have to go thorough for writing FAA ATP and get the licence while holding another country CPL/IR assume that I have enough hours to apply for.

There are no 737 sims in LA. Closest are Denver or Seattle. Keep in mind the FAA just issues a 737 type rating, good in -100 through -900. Most training centers know the drill to make foreign CAAs happy.

There's lots of information on getting a FAA certificate in the North American section. Really no short cut for a foreign license holder. Ground school, flight training, oral exam, checkride.
