Did Emirates Skycargo serve Chicago for a while?
 

Their route map was showing ORD till a few days ago, but nothing in schedules came up, now all of a sudden the city has been removed from map, did they fly there for sometime or was it never launched?

I don't think EK ever did cargo to ORD. We fly cargo for EK, and we don't go there.

EK is getting the 747-8F. They may or may not have more total airframes with the addition, so maybe ORD is a new destination???

it was marked on the map with a yellow dot indicating freighter only service, an African destination too appeared on the map and was removed that too did not show any flights in schedule but on the net there are references for it having been launched in October.

Do you know wether the other companies flying for EK flew there? I believe Martinair cargo and World airways were also operating for them besides Atlas and TNT.

Sorry World are not flying for EK anymore and TNT have switched to a single 777F from the 747.
