US immigration lawyers
 

I'm looking for a US lawyer to sort out an application for a 'green card' for me. Does anyone know if there's an equivalent of the UK Law Society that can point me in the direction of specialist lawyers?

Any other comments on the subject?

try using a newsgroup such as alt.visa.us
or misc.immigration.us the guys on these newsgroups are most helpful for info and lawyer info with recommendations.

I can recommend a firm of specialist immigration lawyers in LA called Davis & Winston (or possibly Winston & Davis!)
The man to contact is Warren Winston.
