McClellan Palomar & San Diego

Anyone offer any suggestions for good x-country trips out of McClellan Palomar San Diego??

Any advice on that region in general would be appreciated.

Fly on over to Mesa Falcon Field (FFZ). Interesting selection of aircraft including warbirds. Friendly folks as well. Try Royal Aviation for good service and 2 very good restaurants on the field.
