Florida Air?
 

Anybody know anything about a new airline starting up in Sarasota called Florida Air? They're starting service with J31's.

Could this be the old West Air or Sunrise Air?

I spoke with the Chief Pilot at Florida Air ast August. He basically offered me a J32 Captain position, saying that they were about to start operations and would need pilots very soon. As far as I know they ha problems with the Feds, bought Sunrise to get their certificate (though it may be the other way around). They are still not flying as far as I know. I have read some things about there managemnt on other boards, basically saying run, dont walk away from Florida Air. But, like everything on a BB, take it with a grain of salt. I personally told them thanks, but no thanks. There are much better deals out there.

CRJ32, Thanks, basically the same opinion I got from them. They're having real probs with their mgmt.

I guess I was dreaming when I thought I'd get to work at home.
