Update on Comair crash..
 

The NTSB is set to issue a probably cause ruling on Thursday July 27.
In the meantime CNN issued this update this morning..

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (AP) -- The pilots in a jet crash last summer that killed 49 people left the terminal without receiving four important airport advisories, including one that said the normal taxiway to the main runway was closed, a newspaper reported Sunday.

I certainly agree with the comments regarding NOTAMS being an outdated system of disseminating information.... I thought it outdated when I started 25 years ago.... Wading through all sorts of irrelevant crap while trying to find some snippet of info that might affect any of dep, dest, alt a/ports or route is a lousy way to stay current.
