Compass Airlines

If a pilot wants to join Compass Airlines as a Captain, what sort of monthly pay and benefits are offered?

How about crewbases and days off?

It sounds like an interesting company to work for.

Thanks for any information.

Lots of chatter about Compass, and airlines in general at

www.forums.flightinfo.com given the state NWA is in, cant see Compass being a whole lot different than any other NWA wholly owned regional ( Mesaba) except that you are a NWA pilot...whatever thats worth these days...

Interviewing. One to two classes per month thereafter. The first 50+/- hired will be captains. Interview: there is a general knowledge written test and sim evaluation in a B-727 simulator.

Compass jobs page.

Planning to hire a 110 pilots this year and 250 pilots in 2008.

NWA mainline flow through: Once pilot has been with Compass for 30 months and is a captain, he has the right to go directly to NWA on an "as needed basis", based on seniority. Example: NWA needs 10 FOs for the DC9, NWA calls Compass and the next 10 pilots that choose to flow up are assigned class dates at NWA.

Will work towards CASS program inclusion.

Makes it worse, you're not even a NWA pilot for a while on commuter wages:confused:..think it was designed for furloughed NWA pilots, but as things look now there wont be many more of those around shortly...
