Miami Operators

Does anyone have any suggestions for a few decent operators in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area that look lower time FO's? I'm a 700hr CFI who is moving down there the beginning of August and am looking for something other than instructing. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Check out IBC. I believe they fly Metroliners and Saab 340 out of MIA.

I sent them a resume on sunday along with TMF who flies DC-3s out of OPF. Thanks!

Miami

FocusAir is based in Ft. Lauderdale. They have 3 or 4 old classics around.

Marios Air also flies DC3's to the Bahamas and such. They are based
at Opa Locka.

There is also a cargo outfit that flies out of Ft.Lauderdale Executive
Airport that flies DC6's, DC7's and some others to various islands.

I doubt Focus would hire a 700 hr. pilot and put him in a 747. That might be a little intimidating, plus there are plenty of high time pilots out there with heavy experience. However, ther are quite a few smaller opearators, Gulfstream is one; and cruise down NW 36 st. There are several pilot hangouts that can give you better info than I can. Good luck!
