There is a 727 with strange looking radome (concord like) parked at the appron adjacent to 7L at LAX (COA apron). Does enybody know the story and pourpose of this trijet...

I assume you're talking about N289MT. The airplane is owned by the Raytheon Corporation and is used for flight testing.
