Consulting in the USA

Hello,

I am going to be a self employed person in the UK who has been offered and opportunity to work in the USA as a consultant. This is hopefully going to lead to a full time job for which I know I need a proper H visa.

Can anyone please advise what I require to go consulting in the USA re visas to begin with?

Cool_Hand thanks for your reply. It is very complicated!!! I think what I need at the moment is a nice friendly aviation employment agency in the UK who would take me on for less than a year, pay me a decent salary and subcontract me out to the US company and not charge them too much money then everyone would win.

Its ok I have stopped dreaming now and woke up in the real world!!!
