Breaking a training contract
 

Maybe others out there have had this problem.

I signed a hefty training contract to fly a metro for a UPS feeder. The training I received was certainly NOT worth what I signed for and I suspect the whole thing is a sort of backdoor pay-for-training scheme. So now I'm looking for a way out of it. Anybody got any ideas?

Break the contract !
From what I've heard no one has ever actually been chased down and made to pay, and even if it went to court I doubt they would be able to get a penny out of you. Of course breaking the contract would nix your chances of getting a good reference from the carrier, how much weight that would carry would depend on what kind of reputation they have.
