gettint a job with a bankrupt record
does anyone know of any pilot getting a job with a regional o mayor airlines, after declaring bankruptcy...
do you think it would be a problem when they do the background check??? thanksss |
I don't see why it should, Airlines go in and out of bankruptcy all the time. Airlines go bust and out of business too. Doing a Bankruptcy is not a good thing, but on the other hand sometimes things get beyond your control. Lay off the credit cards the next time.

Airline hiring gone mad
Whatever happened to one's right to privacy?
The airline is *required* to verify your residence, work history and training records. They are *not* required to check your credit history. This is an absurd practice by some airlines to obstensibly hire the "best" candidate. The fact of the matter is good pilots do go bankrupt occasionally and, as pointed out above, it's usually because their employeer went bankrupt first. To answer the original question: It won't be a problem unless you apply to a company that checks. |
