Anyone who has had an interview know how much they intend to pay yet?

tailscrape 5th May 2003 23:26

Interviewing tomorrow and Wednesday.

Interested?

duffone 5th May 2003 23:45

Captain £56800 FO £37500

tailscrape 6th May 2003 00:07

Duffone,

Sector pay? LOL insurance? Pension? Holiday? Medical?

Does it sound like it is a place that will work, or another short lived wonder?

Must say, am very tempted as it is local. However, I wonder if they will survive?

Yarpy 6th May 2003 16:18

What intrigues me is that the CEO is given as Lars Welinder, Chief Executive Officer (interim).

Excuse my simple pilots logic but I take it that the permanent CEO has yet to be appointed.

Its pure speculation on my part but do they have someone more well known waiting in the wing to take over as CEO at a later date?

Zulu 7th May 2003 02:29

Sector/Flight pay: under discussion
LOL: Yes
Pension: Matched to 7.5%
Holiday: 36 days (inc PH)
Medical: Have to check on that...

Oh, and re: CEO:
It is NOT, repeat NOT, a certain American lady waiting in the wings...

A Very Civil Pilot 9th May 2003 19:33

They gave me different T&C's:

FO: £34,750
Holidays: 20 days + 8 PH
Crew Allowance £40 per night (assume that is for unscheduled night-stop).

Dudley 9th May 2003 19:53

Where are they?

Tried to log on their website... No success.
Are they still around?

Very civil,

Yes, me too. Not sure that is quite enough......

A Very Civil Pilot 10th May 2003 16:01

I enjoyed the interview, but had alot more questions to ask about T&C, rostering etc, but these would be more appropriate for when a job is offered.

Any news of the sim? I've been asked, but am still waiting for the letter to arrive. I have heard that it might be at LHR.

tailscrape 10th May 2003 18:27

Civil,

Yes, been asked too for a sim check, however I have never flown a 737 for real, so am not really worried. I guess it will be like any other jet. Pitch and Power.....

Am strapped and very busy for dates at the moment, do you have any idea when yours may be?

Also are you looking at the third or fourth airplane?

A Very Civil Pilot 12th May 2003 19:05

Got a confirmation for next week. 1 hour breifing, 2 hour sim at LHR.

Third or fourth airplane  ?? Not sure what you mean.

tailscrape 12th May 2003 22:00

presumably you will be joining in time for the third or fourth airplane. i.e. not immediately...

jethro15 12th May 2003 22:08

Can anyone confirm that operations are to commence 01 Aug 03??
