easyJet - Time to captain ?
Hi all,
I am between jobs and thinking where the heck to go. Is it true that the progression to command in easyJet is fast or is it just BS to make pilots like me apply???? I dont mind flying as fo at all, I am just trying to get a picture of how long... Hoping for some easyguys to fill me in :) Thanks |
Just because a few moaners give the company a bad name on this site, don't assume everything they say is BS.
Your answer is at: http://www.easyjet.com/en/jobs/pilot...quirments.html |
Thanks CleanSpeed, but thats the company info. again :-)
I am more or less looking for an inside answer, you know, is an experienced fo gonna sit in the right seat for years or is he likely to be picked for captain after a short time? Ex. in Ryanair they tell experienced applicants that they will become captain on their second prof. check, but I think they are more or less as good as selling themselves to pilots as they are selling tickets to costumers... off course compaired to highfare operators the road to captain is short, but is it as short as they say it is? any comments from real life....? |
Three of my friends are at Ryanair - they got their commands very quickly - experienced 737 drivers are expected to change seats within six months.
Probably the best place for a quick jet command, and definitely the best paid! |
