I have 3000 hrs TT and a 737 rating. Currently employed by a small 737 operator and expecting a command in Summer 2004.

My question is this - What do you think the likely time to command is for a person with my hours with Baby? I've read the posts above but 4000TT does not necessarily mean a command. Obviously, working on the proviso that I pass a command assessment are there many F/O's sitting on the grades waiting for skippers to move on?

As I have said above I am hopeful for a command next year with my present company and would like to know whether it is worth my time sending Baby my CV and all the other hoops to jump through.

Honest opinions very much appreciated.
