Jet2 vs BA Euroflyer
Hi everyone,
Can anyone please share information on the captain upgrade requirements and process for experienced first officers at Jet 2 and BA Euroflyer? Jet 2 mentions a factorization for the hours but they dont give the exact factors for calculation. Thanks a lot in advance! |

Thanks a lot in advance! 3000 factorised, you can maybe start the application/assessment process earlier than that, not sure, it’s just changed. Pretty sure you still need 3000 at the point of actually starting a command course-albeit I stand to be corrected. From memory if you have time on type in another company you get x0.9 credit for those hours |
Yes you can apply at 2700 hours now.

Anyone knows how the process is internally in Jet2? Is it seniority base now? Is it like Ryanair that depends a lot from the base captain and the highly subjective opinions of the training captains? |
