I've an interview with Eastern in a couple of weeks. Can anybody currently there give me an idea of the rostering/standby/lifestyle factors please?

Unless you’re desperate for work, avoid at all costs. Be prepared to sell your soul to the company on joining. Be prepared for constant, last minute changes and disruption. You will struggle to have any form of a stable social life due to the constant disruptive roster.

As I say, unless you’re desperate, run a mile from this outfit. Been there, done it, got several T-shirts!

Seem to be doing a lot of football charter work this year! So reckon it would be a pretty good gig.

Really? I’m intrigued as to why you think that!

I am with Atlantic on this one. Why would you think football charters are a good gig. I did lots of them when I was at EA and just like any other flight.
