Ryanair 2025

Anyone who has any idea how many experienced pilots that will be recruited in 2025? Will there be any expansion or just replacing the old NGs with the incoming MAXes?

Our CFO announced that the direct entry intake will be slowly reduced to 0.
Cadets courses will be reduced by 70%.
If you know someone in RYR just ask him to let you see the video by Niel on Fleethub.

I think DE applicants will have missed the boat until the -10 deliveries, but at least newbies will be less likely to be press ganged into a basing in the United Soviet Kingdom!

So no more DEFO with a UK base for a while?

Or any base really… Over crowded for a foreseeable future it seems. But many other operators will start recruitment for S25, and that might of course affect FR as well.

Hi all, i can confirm that as far as direct entry recruitment is concerned, we are more or less now finished for the next number of years until the next growth phase, we will continue to hire cadets with a focus on those attending a Ryanair mentored partner & on the Ryanair Future Flyer academy programme. Limited number of remaining direct entry slots in UK for courses starting latest March 25, after that, you are talking 2027-2028 at the earliest for direct entry experienced pilots. Attrition has fallen off a cliff & no new aircraft due into fleet from end of 25 until Max 10.

cadets will fill any gaps due attrition & command upgrades pool for left hand seat.

do you know if direct entry people in the hold pool, already having passed the assessment are planned for courses by then, or is there a chance they can expect the 12month validity of their assessment to expire and not be called due to these circumstances? Thanks
