Validation of radio license FAA to EASA
Good evening, does anybody know if any EASA member state accepts the „English proficient“ endorsement on my FAA ATP license in order to issue an English level 4 endorsement for my EASA ATPL. The English Level 4 on my EASA ATPL has expired and consequently I need to renew it, may be even have to retake the initial language skill test. Time, travel, location and opportunity will be tough in order to undergo a language skill test in Europe, hence my hope the FAA „„English proficient“ endorsement will be sufficient and accepted. According to FAA AC 60-28B, no FAA license will be „English proficient“ endorsed, unless applicant ( pilot ) meets ICAO level 4 English skills. cheers |
No, unfortunately you have to do the EASA english language proficiency exam with an EASA ELP examiner. I did it last year. There's no work around or short cut.

search for anEASA approved school in your location. They should be able to help.
