EU legacy vs US legacy pay
If you fly for an EU or US legacy carrier (BA,EI,KLM,AF, AA,UAL,SWA,FEDEX etc) maybe you could share accurate salary and benefits information Gross & more importantly net income and pension/insurance benefits etc along with days off hours flown etc (your scale and highest scale)
I’m pretty sure that the US is well ahead but it would be interesting to see what the gap currently is. Not trying to starting WWIII just thought it would be interesting to compare both sides of the pond.:ok: |
Wake up EU:
Seen it from a junior captain „line holder“ for a us major on narrowbody equipment, picks his working days, 18 up to 20 days off, walks to plane without security check (known crewmember lane/kcm), commutes for free on all airlines (cass). |

Put some numbers in the pay calculator and you will get an idea but yes, the US pay is way ahead. Not to mention taxes in EU are generally much higher. |
