Attention Easy/Go junior FOs
When you guys/gals get time would really like to know the following:
1. Typical roster for a junior FO, say for example over a week period. 2. Number of days on/off and holiday entitlement. 3. Likely number of home and airport standbys in a month. 4. Number of night stops in a month. 5. Number of hours flown a year. 6. Are there any regional variations depending on base location? Thanks in advance. |
Crosswind Limits,
1. 6 day working week (7 if you include the flexi day but that *should* occur only once a month). Typical day is 4 sectors, no wasted time like my old employer :) . Out of the 6 days normally 4 or 5 days rostered flying and 1 or 2 standbys. Can't really say I get called out that much. 2. Days off. Well it's 6 on 3 off so a typical month would be 10 days off 2 Rest days (went from lates onto days off). Holiday entitlement is 5 weeks but becuase of the fixed roster (6 on 3 off) taking 7 days off gives 12 days off in total, 21 days off for taking 2 weeks off etc etc. 3. 3-4 standbys per month, airport standby only at Luton I think. 4. Nightstopping is kept to a minimum. Haven't had any in the last 2 months. 5. At the moment about 7-800 hours per year. 6. Dunno Hope that helps. |
Go as follows
1. Typical roster for a junior FO, say for example over a week period. Two/Four Sectors (STN FAO STN) (STN-Munich-STN-Newcastle-STN) Are typical of two and 4 sector days. No Night flights. 2. Number of days on/off and holiday entitlement. Same as EZY (I think)! 3. Likely number of home and airport standbys in a month. Depends 3 on my roster- didn't get called on my last. 4. Number of night stops in a month. 2/3 nights- in GLA 5. Number of hours flown a year. Close to 900 6. Are there any regional variations depending on base location? Scotland/Bristol/EMA/STN The rosters in GO are rock solid, it's very unusual for a change. How about EZY? |
