HiFly
Hello everybody out there,
I have a some questions about HiFly and maybe i can find the answer here. Does anybody has some experiance according the Assesment such as Interview (questions) Sim for HiFly? How many Hours is a Pilot flying in a Month. Roster, payment etc. would be nice to have some Feedbacks. |
The only thing i know is that they normally recruit through agencies, they told me that one or two months ago via email.
Rest is a mistery to me:ok: |
They belong to ex-air luxor owners.
It was a great company to work.Very dinamic, with schedule flights and ACMI contracts non Stop. HIFLY stills follow this philosophy, only ACMI contracts, around the world, incresing fleet, handling more A330 and 340. Contracts are with HIFLY Malta, due to taxes, But very well paíd. High performance of safety, só IF you are type rated on 310,330 or 340 apply. |
Are you kidding trancada ? The new contract for FO is a disgrace .
4500 Eur for 24 days ON and 8 days OFF + 2 VAC. :ugh: With no benefits or pension and flying on  places like Nigeria and Saudia . Who in hell want to fly a 330/340 for this kind of money ? :p |
Well trancada70 I didn’t know those specific details.
Some guys, that work there told me 6000 Euros F/O’s without taxes. I believe that nobody want’s to go those countries that you mentioned. Those 24 days ON and 8 days off+2 VAC, are only in the paper ?:oh: If they are luck of pilots they may ask you to extend your stay. Good side and bad side. They also have an operation in Australia, operated an ACMI for Norwegian, when they had the B787 delay. |
6500 Euro, was before the LCC dickheads dream about the 330/340 and race to the bottom .
|
Type rated FOs earn 6000-6500 € tax free, no benefits, no pension fund, overtime pay above 75 hours/month (but you rarely fly that much).
There are some non-type rated ab-initio FOs who earn less. Working scheme 20 days on, 10 days off + 24 days leave/y (old contract) and 18 days on 10 days off no leave (new contract). If you consider applying, contact Aeroprofessional, Confair or Plurajet. Waterproof contracts. At the moment whole production in JED, that will change in a month... |
Dear Dani, you are out of time. The contract , for FO is a disgrace. Come on, 4500 Eur to fly an A-330/340 !
|
Today I have been offered €6500/month with 20 on 10+2 off.
CCQ from 320 to 330. Monthly deduction for CCQ of €1000 a month for 12 months. Flights to/ from your Hub every month and 4* Hotac which is worth quite a bit in my book. Just need some info on Interviews/ assessment(Sim) etc, all the usual. Also info on routes /bases too would be good. Doesn't seem that bad to me :ok: |

Yep! But and there is always a But.
Get yourself a Great Tax Consultant, NOT accountant ;-) I did several years ago when working for another Airline and he legally saved me a small fortune :-) |
It's actually 1000 EUR a month for 36 months for the CCQ, then they give you 24,000 back at the end of those 3 years.

To me that equates to the old fashioned bonding system. Which I honestly dont see anything wrong with. It is far far better than some of the other outrageous dodgy deals that are currently being offered ie, £110,000 and we might give you a full time position after your Flexi crew year, then only if we feel like it.
Or £94,000 but you must play our stupid mind games first routine ....... :D If you know of any Airline currently offering a free CCQ A320 to 330 or 340, then please feel free to point me in the right direction.....:hmm: |
QR,EY,EK, and some others .:hmm:
|
You don't get an immediate CCQ Upgrade with any of those, you have to do a few years on the 320 first. Or so I'm told by colleagues of mine working for all three of those. In any case, I'm too old for any of them so it is academic anyway. I started this career relatively late in life.
|
EK doesent even have A320 and all people I know who went to EK,EY or QR in the last 3 years went from A320 straight on A330 or B777.
|
Read on another forum that HiFly are moving out of Saudi Arabia tomorrow. Can anyone tell if they have any new contracts?
|
I am 50+ years old unfortunately, so those three are a non starter for me :{
Plus a colleague of mine who went to QR is on the 320 with no chance of moving to 330, he has been there for 3 years with another 2 left on his contract. |
The jock continue ! Now this super company ask for an English Level 5.:roll eyes:
What will be the next step ? A shuttle type rating ? A Phd in astrophysics ? Since these clowns have lost the FlyNas contract , they try to dismiss a lot of pilot applications by changing the terms during the process. |
