Move from A320 to B777
 

Hello to all,

Been flying the A320 for quite some time. TT on type +10k.
Need a change.
Would like to move to B777.
What would be my options?

All (serious) thoughts helpful.

Eva Air, EK, Norwegian (787 though) (Added text since message was too short)

Perhaps Qatar or the other huge non-EK UAE carrier. I wouldn't quit a position flying the Bus for either carrier unless you got that in writing but I doubt they would provide it. I know in the past that QR hired A320 pilots from Olympic who were placed onto the 777 - but that could have been due to fleet need at the time. No promises...

In QR if you don´t have wide body experience as a Captain, you will be recruited on A320!. But, you can expect maybe a fleet transfer after 2-3 years.

Considering a company with better lifestyle (whatever it means to you: more money, more days off, better working climate) and not giving a :mad: about what aeroplane you'll fly?
